"Bought this item for it's ipod capabilities and it works great. It controls the ipod 160gb classic right from the radio using the usb port. It also charges the ipod as well. The only drawback I have found with the unit is that the tone controls only add or subtract 8db for the bass, mid, and treble. The unit it replaces used to add 12db."

"Bought this mainly because of USB Mass Storage support. Using it with a 2.5" HD via an IDE to USB adapter, though I had to supply external power to the adapter, even though the HD was rated at 500mA as is the port on the stereo, going to try a different adapter. Port did work well for charging my phone. File browsing works well, works even better after indexing with the Kenwood Music Editor Lite software. "
